Cafeteria
The kitchen and Dining Hall services/Cafeteria are of very high quality, being managed by well-trained hotel management team as a major multinational hospitality provider. Children get nutritious, wholesome food which is hygienically prepared and served. The menu caters to different tastes and pallets. Breakfast & Lunch is provided to all day-boarders and boarders. Cooking, Catering & General Housekeeping for the Hostel & School is undertaken by a dedicated staff of over a 50 people. The menu is specially designed to cater to the needs of growing children and both non-vegetarian and vegetarian food is available as per the choice of the students.
Security and Monitoring
Mount Fort High School provides a safe and secure learning environment for all of our students. Safety measures have been taken in each and every place of our school. We also have installed closed-circuit television (CCTV) in our school premises that serves as a positive measure to help prevent any kind of nuisance and enhance security.
Security guards are also positioned on all the school gates ensuring that nobody without monitoring can enter the school campus. They are also very kind and friendly attitude towards the children, keeping them safety.
Automatic Fire extinguishers are set up throughout the school building to meet any kind of fire accidents through its alarm.
Audio Visual Rooms
Audio-visual aid is the best tool for making teaching effective and the best dissemination of knowledge. Here a student can develop his/her communication skills. Audio-visual tools allow musical and visual learners to learn information in a way that stimulates their intelligence style. Students are introduced to the concept of conveying information creatively – which comes in handy when they must give presentations in class or later in their careers. Exposure to audio-visual aids in school teaches kids how to communicate through sight and sound, and to tie the things they see and hear together to understand an important message.
Activity Rooms
The activity room is where the children can come in small groups and experience activities, interaction and any other planned activities. Here in we have games, arts/crafts and story sacks. We feel it’s very important for children to experience small group work as well as individual and large group work, so this quiet extension gives the children every opportunity. The simplest and most obvious activity is to come up with a list of body movements that can be done standing at a desk. Mount Fort High School also motivate the children in doing routine exercises like, jumping jacks and jogging, by which there will be a good blood pumping throughout the body. Our physical education teacher also helps the students in these activities.
